Ashley Busquets (Wondergem) is a Simulation Engineer with FD-Groups America specializing in model based design. She attended Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) in Saginaw, MI for her BSME, graduating in August of 2012. While enrolled at SVSU, she was employed as an undergraduate co-op engineer at Dow Chemical Company in Midland, MI from May 2010 until July 2012 with a fluid mixing group. In August of 2012, Ashley began her graduate research at Maha Fluid Power Research Center at Purdue University under the supervision of Monika Ivantysynova. Her research focused on micro-surface shaping of the piston/cylinder interface of an axial piston machine utilizing an advanced modeling tool. After receiving her MSME in December of 2014, she transferred to the Department of Agricultural in Biological Engineering with a Fluid Power Specialization, receiving her Ph.D. in February of 2018.
